JT Login Menu Pro Documentation

JT Login Menu Pro is a Joomla! module that improves the default login experience with a modern guest login panel and a clean user dropdown for logged-in users. It is designed for sites that want a better front-end account experience without replacing the native Joomla! user workflow.

  1. Download the JT Login Menu Pro installation package.
  2. In Joomla! Administrator, go to System -> Install -> Extensions.
  3. Upload the package ZIP file.
  4. After installation, go to Content -> Site Modules.
  5. Open JT Login Menu and publish the module.
  6. Assign it to the desired module position.
  7. Save the module.
1. Publish the Module

Open the module settings and make sure:

  • Status is set to Published
  • Access is set as needed
  • Menu Assignment is set to the pages where you want to display the module
2. Choose a Position

Publish the module in a header-friendly position such as:

  • menu
  • topbar
  • header

The available position depends on your Joomla! template.

Module

The main module tab contains the basic front-end login trigger settings.

Guest Button Label

Set the text shown for guests before login.

Example:

  • Log in
  • Sign in
  • Account
Guest Icon Class

Set the Joomla icon class used in the guest trigger.

Example:

  • icon-user
  • icon-lock
Guest Panel Mode

Choose how the guest login form opens.

Available options:

  • Offcanvas
  • Modal
Offcanvas

Opens the login form in a side panel.

Modal

Opens the login form in a centered popup window.
Menu Density

Choose the visual spacing for the trigger and user menu.

Available options:

  • Regular
  • Compact

Regular

Uses normal spacing for a comfortable layout.

Compact

Uses tighter spacing for smaller header areas.

Avatar Image URL

Use a direct image URL if you want to show a custom avatar instead of the default initial-based avatar.

Avatar Color Preset

Choose a preset color for the default avatar.

Typical options include:

  • Primary
  • Secondary
  • Success
  • Info
  • Warning
  • Danger
  • Light
  • Dark
  • Custom
Custom Avatar Color

If the preset is set to Custom, enter your own color value.

Example:

  • #0d6efd
  • #20d6b8
Show Profile Link

Enable or disable the profile link inside the logged-in dropdown.

Show Registration Link

Enable or disable the registration link for guests.

Custom Menu Links

Add your own links inside the logged-in user dropdown.

Each item supports:
  • Title
  • URL
  • Icon class
  • Open link in
Login Redirect URL

Set a custom URL for the user after a successful login.

Logout Redirect URL

Set a custom URL for the user after logout.

Use this if you want to guide users to a specific page.

License

JT Login Menu Pro includes built-in license activation.

License Key

Enter your valid license key.

Purchase Email

Enter the email address used for the purchase.

License Status Summary

This section displays:

  • License status
  • Current domain
  • Support validity
  • Update validity
  • Site URL
  • Last checked time
License Actions

Available actions:

  • Activate License
  • Deactivate License


Activate License

Validates your license for the current site.

Deactivate License

Removes the active domain assignment before moving the site or changing the domain.
